I've never been in a pageant before, can I still compete?
Absolutely! There is no experience required or necessary.

There is no preliminary competition in my area, can I still compete?
In areas where there is no preliminary competition, those titles are awarded by our Executive State Committee based on eligibility and applications received. This process is called "competing at-large".

Are there height and weight requirements?
The Mrs. New Hampshire & Mrs. Massachusetts United States Pageant has no height or weight stipulations. We know that exceptional young women come in all shapes and sizes. The Mrs United States Pageant does showcase the importance of a healthy lifestyle in the fitness wear portion of the competition.

What is a platform?
A platform is a cause or issue that is near or dear to your heart. Each contestant in the Mrs. New Hampshire & Mrs.  Massachusetts United States Pageant will select a platform which she will spend the year promoting if selected. There is no right or wrong platform, as long as it's an issue that you are passionate about.

Can I obtain sponsors to help defray the cost of competing?
Absolutely! Sponsors are allowed and encouraged, but not required.
What time commitment is involved in being a State title-holder?
You may devote as much (or as little) time as you desire, are able, in regards to promoting your title and making appearances. We request that each State title-holder make at least two appearances in their community per month, but this will vary from contestant to contestant based on each contestant's individual schedule.

Why participate in Pageant Competitions?
Participation in pageant competitions can be a positive and exciting adventure for women.  Through interview, she can learn to understand herself, her personal relationships, formulate opinions about the world, and learn key skills to bring to her future business and professional ventures.  Through stage competition, she learns choreography, public speaking skills and gains new confidence in herself.  The pageant training process focuses 
on healthful living and exercise.  These are lifelong lessons that have benefited countless women.  Few forums offer all these benefits in one place.  

Furthermore, pageant competition rewards personal success, including
academic achievement, workplace
 accomplishments,
work ethic, interpersonal relation skills including successful family dynamics, and most of all it rewards involvement in charity and community good works.  Knowledge and opinions about the world are essential to the process.  The pageant competition process can help create the strength and confidence a woman needs to flourish in today's world.

Our goal is to give you with an exciting and memorable pageant experience. 
We have built strong support from our sponsors, which will benefit our delegates on the state as well as the national competition levels.  
 
In keeping with the national pageant's essential elements for this goal, we will:
(1)  Focus on the journey for each and every participant to have the best experience possible.
(2) Strive to bring integrity into every aspect of the process to deliver a fair and honest pageant.
(3) Use our attention to detail and creative expertise to insure a quality pageant in both production and style.
(4) Encourage our delegates to use their State Titles to volunteer their support to charity events in their local communities.
(5) But above all, give care to each delegate to highlight her in a state of grace and elegance.
